Gorman Learning Charter Network is a TK-12 California public charter school and one of the pioneers in California independent study, helping students thrive for more than 20 years.

We are WASC accredited, tuition-free, and offer students flexible, individualized learning plans. We pride ourselves on giving our students the best of all worlds—the homeschool tradition, the classroom setting, and everything in between—and utilizing what works best for each individual student.

We treat our personalized learning model like a buffet, allowing students to pick and choose the programs and resources that are the best fit for their specific learning styles and goals.

We enroll students who live in the Following counties: San Bernardino Los Angeles Kern Orange County Ventura Riverside Inyo

The Gorman Difference

 

Resource Center Workshops (In-Person & Virtual)

Students have the option of visiting our resource centers to complete schoolwork, take hands-on workshops for academic subjects or electives, participate in sports, and enjoy other collaborative activities.

Gorman has two resource centers as well as a virtual resource center, providing students in independent study the opportunity to interact with peers.

Personalized Learning Teachers

All of our students are assigned a Personalized Learning Teacher (PLT) who guides them through their individualized programs and ensures they thrive in an at-home environment.
