Legoland California, Oceanside, Monday, December 9 at 9 a.m.  RSVP/Cancel by Friday, November 15

  • RSVP by Friday, November 15. If you have to cancel for ANY reason after November 15, you WILL have to reimburse GLCN for ALL of your tickets.
  • Open to GLCN students, minor-aged siblings, and custodial parents/guardians--no extended family or friends.
  • Outstanding STEM workshops will be granted to GLCN students Grades TK-8 until full.
  • $10 for siblings and parents (siblings age 0-2 are free)
  • Gorman pays for all Gorman students who ATTEND.
  • Limited free parking vouchers (awarded on first RSVPed basis)
  • Enjoy Legoland and all it has to offer.  Families are free to leave whenever they need

Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary, Phelan, Thursday, January 16, 9:15 a.m.  RSVP/Cancel by Monday, January 6

  • RSVP by Monday, January 6. 
  • Open to GLCN students, minor-aged siblings, and custodial parents/guardians--no extended family or friends.
  • Tour this amazing animal rescue facility to see and learn about the big cats, monkeys, birds, and oodles of other animals.
  • $5 for siblings and parents (siblings age 0-2 are free)
  • Families may stay after our tour and pay separately to feed the wild animals ($10 for adults and $5 for children)
  • Gorman pays for all Gorman students who ATTEND.
  • Free parking.

  • Siblings are free but parents/guardians are $15 
  • Free parking 
  • Tour the galleries and amazing exhibits, including a replica of the Oval Office, on an excellent docent-led tour full of information
  • Enjoy the grounds of the museum
  • Board the Presidential helicopter
  • Walk through Nixon's childhood home

Whale Watching, Newport, Monday, March 16, 11 a.m.  RSVP/Cancel by Friday, February 28

  • RSVP by Friday, February 28. If you have to cancel for ANY reason after February 28, you WILL have to reimburse GLCN for ALL of your tickets.
  • Open to GLCN students, minor-aged siblings, and custodial parents/guardians--no extended family or friends.
  • $11 for siblings and parents (siblings age 0-2 are $2.50)
  • Gorman pays for all Gorman students who ATTEND
  • Metered or flat rate parking available. Plan on about $10
  • View majestic whales (the last two years have been AMAZING)
  • Watch dolphins race your boat
  • Laugh at lazy seals lounging on buoys
  • Enjoy a lovely day on the ocean and at the beach

Descanso Gardens, La Canada Flintridge, Monday, April 6 at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m.  RSVP/Cancel by Friday, March 20--SPECIFY THE TIME YOU WISH TO ARRIVE

  • RSVP by Friday, January 20. Limited spots available--awarded on first RSVPed-first served basis.  Indicate the time you wish to arrive.
  • Open to GLCN students, minor-aged siblings, and custodial parents/guardians--no extended family or friends.
  • Siblings are free but parents/guardians are $4 
  • Free parking 
  • Enjoy the varied gardens in Spring, including the Japanese gardens, California natives gardens, Oak Forest, Ancient Forest, and so much more
  • Explore the Boddy House and Sturt Haaga Gallery
  • Bring a picnic and eat in the designated picnic spot
  • Note: the Enchanted Railroad will most likely NOT be running at the gardens that day
